Ridley’s Mowing and Gardening started to solve a very specific problem: the severe lack of dependable property maintenance in the Maitland and Hunter Valley region. When we looked at the local industry, we heard the same frustrations repeated by strata managers, local business owners, and homeowners.

People were tired of contractors turning up days late without a phone call, rushing the job, ignoring the weeds, or leaving grass clippings sprayed across driveways. Worse, many commercial managers found themselves legally exposed by hiring operators who lacked proper public liability insurance or basic safety training.

We set out to be the exact opposite. We wanted to build a local business that ran with the precision of a major commercial firm, while keeping the grounded, honest nature of a locally owned Maitland company.
